Superb WWII Home Front Police Helmet

Perhaps the best example of it's kind I've seen. It retains almost all it's original factory-applied blue paint finish, while the stencilled POLICE is crisp and clear. Both shell and liner are 1939 dated, the latter was manufactured by Barrow, Hepburn & Gale and is in size 7. The chinstrap is clean and retains it's elasticity. Very difficult to better, an exceptionally good helmet.
