Scarce WWII Commando Cap Comforter

An item of head-gear as iconic and evocative of the Commandos as the green beret itself. This unissued example is part of a small batch uncovered during the late 1980's. It is maker-marked, War Department broad-arrow stamped and dated 1944. Aside from one nip which isn't visible when worn the condition is mint. A superb item of WWII Commando head-gear, and rare indeed.
