Large WWII Japanese Recognition Flag

A superb original and somewhat large WWII Japanese military recognition flag I acquired with some POW bring-backs. Of multi-piece construction. The two vertical edges are stitched in such a way as to leave channels through which fastening cords could be placed. In excellent condition.
