Exceptional 1907 Pattern SMLE Bayonet

From my own collection, an exceptionally good P'07 Bayonet. It was manufactured by the US firm Remington in 1915. Remington made examples are amongst the more scarce, only 100,000 having been produced. The bayonet is complete with it's matching Remington-made scabbard, also dated 1915. The scabbard is rare in retaining it's original brown polished finish, an order of 1926 brought about the blackening of scabbards, relatively few apparently escaped this process. The condition overall is superb, with most of the original finish remaining. One of the most attractive examples I've owned.
