Rare 3rd Infantry Division Royal Artillery Battledress
An exceptionally handsomely badged BD to an Artillery Lieutenant of the 3rd Infantry Division, a unit which fought in Europe from D-Day. The blouse is a 1940 Pattern example, the lapels of which have been faced allowing closure at the neck as issued. It is 1944 dated and in a relatively large size. The condition of the blouse is excellent. Its original insignia comprises RA red-backed rank pips, Artillery titles, Divisional and Artillery regiment flashes, and arm of service strips. In all a rare and attractive BD to a unit which landed on D-Day.
