Ultra-rare WWII Helmet Hessian Cloth Camouflage Cover

These distinctive covers were made to a pattern and worn during the early years of the War. I've collected in this field for 35 years and know of no surviving examples. Recently a national army museum de-accessioned a small number held in storage since the War. I have been extremely lucky in acquiring the very last of them. Three varieties surfaced; tan, green and camouflaged. This is one of just two tan examples I purchased, and the only one I am offering for sale. A very few actually bear manufacturers stamps and dates, this being one such. Unapologetically highly priced. I doubt we will ever see other examples. Helmet not included
