WWII German Stock Mine


The Stock Minen consists of a cylindrical concrete main body on top of a short wooden stake (lacking on this example as indeed they invariably are). The concrete head contained an explosive charge, and was embedded with metal chards. A ZZ42 pull fuze is fitted to a central fuze well on the top of the mine. A fascinating original item of WWII German ordnance.

These occasionally appear on the market but are very seldom labelled. This pair is in mint unissued condition and retain their original dated paper labels. A rare item of kit indeed.
