An item of head-gear as iconic and evocative of the Commandos as the green beret itself. This unissued example is part of a small batch uncovered during the late 1980's. It is maker-marked, War Department broad-arrow stamped and dated 1944. Aside from one nip which isn't visible when worn the condition is mint. Extremely scarce WWII Other Ranks' Service Dress Cap

From my own collection, a rare early-WWII OR's Service Dress cap. It is maker-marked L Silberston & Sons, and though the size and date are less clear, it appears to be size 6 5/8 and 1939 dated.
